These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PlayBook Archive website displaying these Terms, any related pages operated by PlayBook Archive, and the digital content, books, reference manuals, interactive files, downloadable resources, and other materials made available by PlayBook Archive.

By accessing this website, using its content, or purchasing a PlayBook Archive product through a third-party platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the website or associated materials.

1. About PlayBook Archive

PlayBook Archive is an independent digital publishing brand.

The brand publishes educational and behavioral nonfiction, reference manuals, frameworks, interactive resources, and other digital products.

For these Terms:

“PlayBook Archive,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of PlayBook Archive.

“Website” refers to:

the PlayBook Archive website displaying these Terms

and related pages or subdomains directly operated by PlayBook Archive.

“Products” includes books, ebooks, PDFs, downloadable files, interactive HTML files, reference manuals, worksheets, frameworks, and other digital materials published by PlayBook Archive.

2. Website Purpose

The website exists primarily to:

  • present information about PlayBook Archive;
  • describe books and digital products;
  • provide educational content;
  • provide access to free resources;
  • direct users to third-party sales platforms;
  • provide information about PlayBook Archive frameworks;
  • provide links to products sold through platforms such as Gumroad or Amazon.

The PlayBook Archive website itself may not act as the merchant, payment processor, or transaction platform for products purchased through external services.

3. Third-Party Commerce Platforms

PlayBook Archive currently uses third-party platforms to sell and deliver products.

These may include:

  • Gumroad;
  • Amazon;
  • other authorized marketplaces or distribution platforms.

When you purchase through one of those services, the transaction is processed through that provider.

Your purchase may therefore also be subject to:

  • the provider’s terms of service;
  • payment rules;
  • buyer policies;
  • refund procedures;
  • tax handling;
  • chargeback procedures;
  • account requirements;
  • regional restrictions.

PlayBook Archive does not control the technical operation of those external platforms.

4. Gumroad Purchases

Where a PlayBook Archive product is sold through Gumroad, Gumroad handles the transaction infrastructure.

This may include:

  • checkout;
  • payment processing;
  • transaction records;
  • payment disputes;
  • chargebacks;
  • certain tax handling;
  • digital delivery infrastructure;
  • refund administration.

Gumroad’s current Terms state that Gumroad handles buyer refund requests, chargebacks, and other buyer disputes in its discretion.

Users purchasing through Gumroad therefore also agree to Gumroad’s applicable terms and policies.

5. Refunds

Purchases Made Through Gumroad

Refund requests for purchases completed through Gumroad must be handled through the Gumroad purchase system and are subject to the applicable Gumroad rules and any refund policy displayed for the specific product.

Gumroad allows creators to establish product-specific refund policies, while also reserving the right to issue refunds in certain circumstances through its platform.

Accordingly:

PlayBook Archive does not independently process payment refunds outside the Gumroad system.

For product or refund questions, start by replying to your Gumroad purchase receipt to contact the creator where that option is available. Any refund remains subject to the product-specific terms and Gumroad’s applicable processing rules. If the creator contact route is unavailable, use Gumroad’s buyer-help options.

6. No Direct Refund Processing Through This Website

The PlayBook Archive website is not intended to operate as an independent payment processor.

Accordingly, for purchases completed through Gumroad:

  • refund requests must follow Gumroad’s process;
  • payment reversals are processed through Gumroad;
  • chargebacks are handled through the relevant payment or commerce system;
  • tax-related payment adjustments are handled through the applicable platform;
  • PlayBook Archive cannot manually alter transactions outside the systems provided by the payment platform.

This does not remove any rights a purchaser may have under mandatory applicable law.

7. Amazon Purchases

Books purchased through Amazon, Kindle, KDP, or other Amazon services are subject to Amazon’s applicable:

  • purchase terms;
  • return policies;
  • refund procedures;
  • delivery rules;
  • account requirements.

PlayBook Archive does not control Amazon’s refund, account, payment, or delivery systems.

Questions concerning those matters should be directed through the appropriate Amazon service.

8. Responsibility for Third-Party Platform Decisions

Third-party platforms operate independently.

PlayBook Archive is not responsible for decisions made by Gumroad, Amazon, payment providers, banks, card networks, or other external services concerning matters such as:

  • payment approval or rejection;
  • blocked transactions;
  • account restrictions;
  • identity verification;
  • currency conversion;
  • taxes;
  • payment processing delays;
  • refunds;
  • chargebacks;
  • payment disputes;
  • platform account suspension;
  • inability to access a third-party account;
  • regional restrictions.

Where a matter is controlled exclusively by the external provider, users must resolve it through that provider.

9. Digital Product Delivery

Digital products may be delivered through Gumroad, Amazon, email, direct download, or another authorized distribution system.

Users are responsible for:

  • providing a valid email address where required;
  • maintaining access to the account used for purchase;
  • downloading purchased files where appropriate;
  • maintaining backups of downloaded products;
  • using compatible devices and software.

Once a downloadable product has been successfully delivered through the authorized platform, continued storage of that downloaded copy is generally the customer’s responsibility.

10. Technical Access Problems

If a purchased product cannot be accessed because of a defect in the PlayBook Archive file itself, you may contact PlayBook Archive so the file issue can be investigated.

Examples include:

  • corrupted download;
  • missing product file;
  • broken HTML package;
  • incorrect file supplied.

Issues involving the transaction platform itself may need to be resolved through Gumroad, Amazon, or the relevant provider.

11. Digital Product Nature

Most PlayBook Archive products are digital.

Digital products may include:

  • PDFs;
  • ebooks;
  • EPUB files;
  • downloadable HTML files;
  • interactive browser-based tools;
  • reference materials;
  • worksheets;
  • archives;
  • bundled downloads.

No physical product should be assumed unless the sales page explicitly states otherwise.

12. Product Descriptions

We attempt to describe products accurately.

However:

  • screenshots may vary between devices;
  • file appearance may depend on browser or PDF software;
  • fonts may render differently;
  • interfaces may evolve;
  • minor formatting differences may occur;
  • product versions may be updated.

Material changes to a product’s core content will not be intentionally misrepresented.

13. Product Updates

PlayBook Archive may revise, improve, correct, or expand digital products.

Updates may include:

  • formatting fixes;
  • typo corrections;
  • revised explanations;
  • interface improvements;
  • compatibility updates;
  • additional resources.

Purchase of a product does not automatically create a contractual right to all future editions, expansions, companion products, or separately released materials unless expressly stated on the product page.

14. License to Use Purchased Products

Unless otherwise stated, purchasing a PlayBook Archive digital product gives you a:

personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own lawful personal use.

You are purchasing access to and use of the product.

You are not purchasing ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

15. Prohibited Distribution

You may not:

  • upload purchased products to public file-sharing websites;
  • redistribute them;
  • resell them;
  • share paid files publicly;
  • provide unauthorized download links;
  • reproduce the complete product;
  • distribute copies to groups or communities;
  • publish substantial portions online;
  • bundle PlayBook Archive products into another commercial product;
  • sell access to the files;
  • remove ownership or copyright information.

A purchase is generally intended for the individual purchaser unless a separate commercial or organizational license explicitly permits otherwise.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless expressly stated otherwise, PlayBook Archive owns or controls the intellectual property associated with its original materials.

This may include:

  • books;
  • written content;
  • frameworks;
  • diagrams;
  • graphics;
  • product design;
  • downloadable resources;
  • website copy;
  • product interfaces;
  • branded terminology.

The Reactive–Control Model (RCM) and associated framework terminology are presented within PlayBook Archive materials as proprietary framework assets.

The published books also expressly identify the RCM and associated terminology as proprietary to PlayBook Archive.

17. Framework Terminology

PlayBook Archive materials may include proprietary or branded terminology such as:

  • Reactive–Control Model;
  • RCM;
  • Validation Debt;
  • Frame Collapse;
  • Reactive Drift;
  • Perceived Value Drop;
  • Control Scale;
  • Decision Filter;
  • related framework terminology.

You may discuss or reference these concepts for legitimate commentary, review, education, or criticism where legally permitted.

You may not falsely represent yourself as the creator or owner of PlayBook Archive’s proprietary frameworks.

18. Educational Use Only

PlayBook Archive content is educational and informational.

It is not intended as:

  • medical advice;
  • psychological treatment;
  • therapy;
  • legal advice;
  • financial advice;
  • professional counselling.

The flagship PlayBook Archive books themselves expressly describe their content as behavioral and educational nonfiction rather than therapeutic or professional advice.

19. No Guaranteed Outcomes

Human relationships and social situations involve independent people and circumstances outside any reader’s control.

Therefore, PlayBook Archive does not guarantee:

  • romantic success;
  • attraction;
  • relationship preservation;
  • reconciliation;
  • improved social status;
  • specific interpersonal outcomes;
  • behavioral transformation;
  • financial outcomes resulting from using the material.

The products provide frameworks and educational material.

The reader remains responsible for how those ideas are interpreted and applied.

20. No Manipulation Guarantee

PlayBook Archive products should not be interpreted as tools that guarantee control over another person’s choices.

The Reactive–Control Model is explicitly structured around the reader’s own behavior rather than control over another person.

One of the core explanations in PlayBook Archive materials states that the model evaluates the man’s response rather than the woman’s action.

Nothing in our products guarantees another person’s response.

21. User Responsibility

You remain responsible for your own:

  • decisions;
  • actions;
  • communications;
  • relationships;
  • judgment;
  • conduct;
  • interpretation of educational materials.

PlayBook Archive cannot evaluate the complete circumstances of every reader’s personal situation.

Use reasonable judgment.

22. Lawful Conduct

You may not use PlayBook Archive products or website materials to facilitate:

  • harassment;
  • stalking;
  • threats;
  • coercion;
  • fraud;
  • abuse;
  • unlawful surveillance;
  • non-consensual conduct;
  • illegal activity.

Educational discussion of interpersonal behavior is not authorization for unlawful behavior.

23. Consent and Boundaries

Nothing in PlayBook Archive materials overrides another person’s:

  • consent;
  • autonomy;
  • boundaries;
  • legal rights.

Where consent is required, it must be freely given and respected.

24. Website Availability

We may:

  • update the website;
  • change its structure;
  • remove pages;
  • add functionality;
  • suspend sections;
  • modify content;
  • migrate hosting providers.

Continuous website availability is not guaranteed.

Technical interruptions may occur.

25. Product Availability

PlayBook Archive may:

  • release new products;
  • discontinue products;
  • change prices;
  • replace editions;
  • modify bundles;
  • change sales platforms;
  • temporarily remove products from sale.

Unless legally required otherwise, this does not create an obligation to keep every historical product permanently available for new purchase.

26. Pricing

Prices may change without advance notice.

The price applicable to a transaction is generally the price displayed by the authorized commerce platform at the time the purchase is completed.

Different markets may display different prices because of:

  • currency conversion;
  • regional pricing;
  • taxes;
  • marketplace rules;
  • platform fees.

27. Taxes

Where taxes, VAT, GST, or similar transaction charges are collected by the commerce platform, those calculations and collections are handled according to that platform’s systems and applicable rules.

For example, Gumroad states that it handles VAT for applicable EU and UK digital sales.

PlayBook Archive does not control the tax calculation shown by an independent marketplace at checkout.

28. Promotional Offers

Promotional pricing may:

  • apply for a limited period;
  • apply only to specific products;
  • apply only through a particular platform;
  • require a promotional code;
  • exclude previous purchases.

Promotions do not create a right to retrospective reimbursement of the difference between an earlier purchase price and a later promotional price.

29. External Links

The website may link to third-party websites.

Such links may include:

  • Gumroad;
  • Amazon;
  • social platforms;
  • payment services;
  • publications;
  • external resources.

A link does not mean PlayBook Archive controls or guarantees the external service.

Use of those sites is subject to their own terms.

30. External Service Availability

PlayBook Archive is not responsible for outages or failures affecting third-party services.

Examples include:

  • Gumroad downtime;
  • Amazon outages;
  • payment processor failures;
  • email-provider problems;
  • DNS failures;
  • cloud-hosting incidents.

Where the problem originates with an external provider, resolution may depend on that provider.

31. Third-Party Account Security

Users are responsible for protecting credentials associated with third-party accounts used to purchase or access products.

PlayBook Archive is not responsible for losses resulting from:

  • compromised Gumroad accounts;
  • compromised Amazon accounts;
  • compromised email accounts;
  • shared passwords;
  • failure to secure personal devices.

32. User Submissions

If the website allows you to submit messages, feedback, reviews, or other content, you must not submit material that:

  • violates law;
  • infringes another person’s rights;
  • contains malicious software;
  • is deliberately fraudulent;
  • contains unlawful threats;
  • impersonates another person.

33. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide product suggestions or feedback, PlayBook Archive may use that feedback to improve its products and services.

Submission of feedback does not automatically create ownership rights in future improvements based on general suggestions.

34. Reviews and Testimonials

Any testimonial or review represents the experience or opinion of the person who provided it.

It should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every purchaser will achieve the same result.

35. No Professional Relationship

Use of PlayBook Archive content does not create:

  • therapist-client relationship;
  • attorney-client relationship;
  • doctor-patient relationship;
  • fiduciary relationship;
  • professional advisory relationship.

36. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlayBook Archive will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from the use of the website or educational products.

This may include losses associated with:

  • decisions based on educational content;
  • loss of data;
  • inability to access a third-party platform;
  • technical interruption;
  • relationship outcomes;
  • reliance on interpretations of the material.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

37. No Liability for Third-Party Transactions

To the extent legally permitted, PlayBook Archive is not responsible for losses caused exclusively by third-party commerce or payment systems.

This includes operational decisions involving:

  • transaction authorization;
  • refund processing;
  • chargebacks;
  • payment holds;
  • account restrictions;
  • currency conversion;
  • marketplace access.

These functions are controlled by the relevant provider.

38. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful misuse of:

  • the website;
  • PlayBook Archive products;
  • copyrighted materials;
  • proprietary frameworks.

This provision does not impose obligations that cannot legally be imposed under applicable consumer law.

39. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the PlayBook Archive website infringes intellectual property rights, you may contact PlayBook Archive with sufficient information to identify:

  • the protected work;
  • the allegedly infringing material;
  • your basis for claiming rights;
  • appropriate contact information.

40. Suspension of Access

Where technically possible, PlayBook Archive may restrict access to services or resources where there is credible evidence of:

  • piracy;
  • unauthorized redistribution;
  • abuse;
  • fraud;
  • violation of these Terms.

Gumroad itself provides creators with mechanisms for revoking customer access in certain circumstances, subject to its own platform rules.

41. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as PlayBook Archive develops.

Changes may reflect:

  • new products;
  • new distribution platforms;
  • new website features;
  • legal requirements;
  • changes to commercial operations.

The date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.

42. Severability

If part of these Terms is held unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent legally possible.

43. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a particular provision at one time does not necessarily waive the right to enforce that provision later.

44. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights that apply to individual users.

Nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
